The Selma Housing Authority held a Mardi Gras celebration at its Felix Heights Apartment Complex Area.  The Selma High band and various political figures did a lap around the apartment area.

Dallas County Commissioner Curtis Williams, Dallas County Circuit Court Judge Collins A. Pettaway, Selma Attorney Brandon Wooten and former Selma High Girls basketball coach Anthony Harris participated in the small parade, giving out beads, moon pies and assorted candies to residents.
