Position Summary: This classification of maintenance mechanic requires advance skills and certification as a Plumber, but must be able to perform a wide range of maintenance-related tasks outside their primary area of assignment of certification. Must maintain and repair general plumbing components to include, but not limited to toilets, urinals, faucets, hose bibs, and drains. Plans and perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on plumbing systems. Performs miscellaneous maintenance related tasks for variety of situations as directed by immediate supervisor.
Education and Experience:
1. Graduation from a standard high school or GED
2. Must have at least three years proven experience in the electrical trade comparable to a certified journeyman level or be a graduate with certification in the electrical trade
3. An equivalent combination of technical training and experience to meet the required knowledge, skills and abilities
1. Must have a valid vehicle operator’s license
2. Must be bondable
