What an amazing way to kick off the school year! 
Today was all about our children! Smiles, fresh haircuts, school supplies, food from the Selma Housing Authority Foodtruck, fun with bouncey houses of all sorts, Moments to Memories Face Painting with Twanda Dixon, soulful music from DJ ItIs Barack, and a whole lot of community love. Seeing so many people come together to make sure our students start the year feeling supported was truly special. The collaboration between the Selma Housing Authority and Selma City Schools this year was a winning success.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Prattcity Barbershop; Cleopatra Beauty Family Hair Cuts; Terrance Brown; and Charles “the Barber” Parker along with his dedicated team for their incredible hair services.
