Our President/CEO, Kennard Randolph, had the opportunity to advocate for affordable housing alongside colleagues from across Alabama during NAHRO Day on the Hill. The Selma Housing Authority is seeking a dedicated and motivated Jobs Plus Case Manager to join our team! This grant-funded position plays an important role in helping residents overcome barriers to employment, gain valuable skills, and achieve long-term self-sufficiency.
The Case Manager will work closely with residents to conduct assessments, develop individualized service and training plans, connect participants with community resources, and provide ongoing case management support. This position is essential in helping participants pursue employment, education, and financial stability while supporting the agencyās mission and HUD program standards.
š¹ Key Responsibilities Include:
ā¢ Conducting intake assessments and identifying employment barriers
ā¢ Developing individualized service and training plans
ā¢ Providing ongoing case management and counseling
ā¢ Connecting participants with community resources and services
ā¢ Coordinating workshops and employment readiness training
ā¢ Maintaining case files and preparing program reports
ā¢ Supporting program outreach, recruitment, and retention
š Qualifications:
ā¢ Bachelorās Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field
ā¢ Minimum 3 years of experience in social services, community services, housing, or related work
ā¢ Strong communication, case management, and community engagement skills
ā¢ Grant experience preferred
