For the people we support, a home is far more than shelter.Β SHA base eligibility on the total annual gross income and family size and is limited to US citizens and specified categories of non-citizens who have eligible immigration status.

When the SHA is merely checking into the possibility of acquiring a product or service, it may issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ). A response to an RFQ by a prospective contractor is not considered an offer, and consequently, cannot be accepted by the SHA to form a binding contract. The order is an offer by the SHA to the supplier to buy certain supplies or services upon specified terms and conditions.

It is with profound sadness that the Selma Housing Authority acknowledges the passing of long serving Executive Director, Mr. Johnny Moss, Jr.
For many years, Mr. Moss faithfully served the residents of Selma Housing Authority with dedication, vision, and a deep commitment to public service. His leadership helped shape our agency and strengthened the communities we are privileged to serve. His contributions extended far beyond buildings and programs; he leaves behind a legacy of service, stewardship, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of others.
Today, we honor a man whose work made a lasting impact on countless families and whose leadership helped lay the foundation for the future of our organization.
We extend our heartfelt prayers and deepest condolences to the Moss family, his friends, former colleagues, and all who were blessed to know him. May they find comfort in Godβs promise:
βThe Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.β β Psalm 34:18
Thank you, Mr. Moss, for your years of faithful service to the Selma Housing Authority and the City of Selma. Your legacy will not be forgotten.
Rest in eternal peace. ... See MoreSee Less

Today, the Selma Housing Authority family gathered to celebrate and honor Ms. McCall, Executive Administrative Assistant to Mr. Randolph, as she officially returns to retirement.
While we are excited for this new chapter in her life, there is no denying that she will be deeply missed. The office wonβt be quite the same without the many fellowships over your homecooked meals that had a way of bringing everyone together.
We pray that retirement brings Ms. Sonya Mills McCall rest, joy, good health, and many opportunities to do all the things youβve put off while faithfully serving others.
Congratulations on your retirement! Once a part of the SHA family, always a part of the SHA family. Enjoy every moment, youβve earned it! We love you. May God bless you richly.β€οΈππ

What an incredible way to wrap up the STEM experience! πβ¨
Our students ended their STEM field trip with an unforgettable visit to the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, where they explored weather science, space technology, and hands-on exhibits that brought learning to life. Experiences like these spark curiosity, inspire big dreams, and remind our youth that the sky is not the limit; itβs just the beginning. πππ«
